Darcy Smith is a union actor and screenwriter from Toronto, Ontario with over twenty years of experience in the industry. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University’s Cinema and Media Studies program. Since then, he wrote four short films that were produced, written three features and two hour-long dramatic pilots. Two short films he co-wrote, “Burdened” and “Project Claudia” were awarded funding from the Ontario and Toronto Arts Councils. In 2025, Darcy sold and produced his first co-written feature film, Pining For Douglas for Leif Films.
